Our aim here is to teach our students how to create a program using simple code blocks. We also would like them to create a common product in collaboration. With the help our our educational videos, we taught our students how to use the coding app Scratch. Firstly, we taught them code blocks, puppet, and scene. They learned how to add decorations to the scene and how to edit decorations. Then, we designed a simple labyrinth scene via drawing tool from scene and decoration section. We added a puppet to our labyrinth. We learned about necessary code blocks to make our puppet move. By so doing, we coded our puppet enabling it to move in four directions. We also added code blocks that prevent our puppet from crossing the lines. Later, we added different puppets to the screen and learned about adding photos. Thus, we improved our game. We created codes that make other puppets (foods) disappear when the moving puppet touches them. Finally, we added the codes that types Congratulations. You have reached the waffle plate! when our mascot touches to the puppet at the end of the labyrinth.
